On any given day, a ceasefire could be in place, the war could be “ending soon,” or “is already over,” talks are beginning, and then end as fast as they started. Pulte gave money to Trump’s inauguration and has weaponized and abused his current position within the government as the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Pulte also led several criminal referrals to the Trump DOJ against political figures, who just so happened to be on Trump’s political enemy list, like New York AG Letitia James, Fed Governor Lisa Cook, Senator Adam Schiff, and former Rep. Eric Swalwell.

At this point, it’s abundantly clear that something is deeply wrong with Donald Trump’s memory (at the very least). He still frequently brags about “acing” the MoCA test, a test used to detect cognitive impairment, early signs of dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. Every day, more and more clips of Trump falling asleep during Cabinet meetings, Oval Office press conferences, and more, are released.

Trump’s Cabinet and inner circle, who are fully aware of what is happening, refuse to take action to invoke the 25th Amendment. Instead, they continue to enable him, flatter him, and boost his ego. Imagine, for a second, the right-wing media outrage if Joe Biden had continuously fallen asleep during high-level meetings as president.

ICE agents, acting as they usually do, attempted to quell the freedom of speech right to protest of the crowd. As Senator Kim attempted to calm the crowd down in fear of violence from ICE agents, he was pepper sprayed. Gov. Mikie Sherrill was outright denied access into the facility, being housed in her own state.

In response, Senator Kim said “Delaney Hall must be shut down immediately. ICE cannot be allowed to continue operating in this way.”

As terrible as the comment was, it may have been the first time that Donald Trump has ever told the truth publicly. As Senator Raphael Warnock pointed out, Trump’s comment was “apparent based on his policies.”

Unfortunately, that’s not all. After Trump called yet another reporter a “dumb person,” he jetted off to China to meet with President Xi Jinping. Trump was joined by an army of top CEOs and billionaires, whose combined net worths exceed $1 trillion, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and Apple CEO Tim Cook. Also joining Trump on his trip to China, is director Brett Ratner of Epstein Files fame. Ratner most recently directed the Melania movie, which if you ask Donald Trump, was the most successful film in the history of cinema.

During Trump’s trip to China, which is still ongoing, he refused to answer any questions by reporters about possible Taiwan discussions. According to new reporting from this trip, Xi Jinping threatened Trump by saying America’s mishandling of Taiwan would cause “clashes and even conflicts, putting the entire [U.S. and China] relationship in great jeopardy.”

On the topic of Iran, Fox News reporter Sean Hannity asked Trump if China’s support for Iran had come up in conversations during their meeting. Trump shrugged off the question, saying that Xi Jinping agreed to not give Iran weapons.

The Florida state legislature, dominated by a Republican supermajority, immediately acted on Trump’s wishes to gerrymander the state and deliver him more GOP seats, as he becomes more and more unpopular. The map was passed in just three days during a swift special session. “Signed, Sealed, and Delivered,” DeSantis wrote immediately after signing the gerrymander into law.

This new map, which is illegal, directly violates the Florida constitution. In 2010, voters passed Amendment 6, which plainly states that “Congressional districts may not be drawn to favor or disfavor a political party.” That is certainly what DeSantis did, who repeatedly went on Fox News to brag about his political motivations surrounding the new gerrymandered map. Members of DeSantis’ own staff have admitted to using partisan data to assist in the creation of this new map.

On this episode of The Siren Podcast, Jo sits down with Nikki Fried, Chair of the Florida Democratic Party, Former Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, and Florida’s last statewide elected Democrat. Fried tells us that how DeSantis has appointed six out of seven members of the Florida Supreme Court, making an independent decision regarding the map more difficult.

Republicans, in a frantic attempt to rationalize Trump’s morning nap, said that he was only “blinking.” But the nearly 20-second long video clearly shows Trump with his eyes closed the entire time, while attendees look at him, apparently trying to figure out what was happening.

During this same White House event, Trump was joined by a group of MAGA crazies including Senator Katie Britt, RFK Jr., and quack Dr. Oz. During the speech, RFK Jr. decided to talk about his disappointment in teenager’s lower semen levels (yes, this is real) while Dr. Oz complained that “1 in 3 Americans are under-babied.”

One reason as to Trump’s inability to stay awake, might be because he’s up all night tweeting. The Daily Beast found that there were only 5 nights in all of April where Trump wasn’t up until 4am tweeting, meaning that he spent more than 80 percent of his nights posting on social media last month.

This is extremely concerning for someone of Donald Trump’s already worrisome mental state, who demands that golden statues of himself be built on his golf courses, as we saw yesterday in Doral, Florida.

The video was met by brutal pushback from Trump and his allies, who apparently had a huge issue with lawmakers asking soldiers to uphold the law. Trump then ordered an investigation into the six lawmakers, including Rep. Crow, when former Fox News anchor Jeanine Pirro tried to indict the lawmakers. Additionally, the FBI began an investigation into Rep. Crow, to which he responded: “President Trump is using the FBI as a tool to intimidate and harass Members of Congress.”

Trump tweeted that the lawmakers should be tried in court for “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” What actually happened, was that the indictments all failed, and Pam Bondi was fired by Trump.

Rep. Crow continues to speak out today against Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth’s illegal actions in Iran, in the Caribbean, and elsewhere. There is practically no limit to the illegality, from war crime double-tap strikes, to unconstitutional wars, to illegally using insider information to place massive bets on U.S. military activity overseas, allowing Trump and his family to massively profit off their government positions.
